Sleepy Time

Athan does not like to go to sleep but when he does finally give it up, he is out! So precious!!!!

At the GREAT-grandparents

Athan has a great time being the center of attention, he knows no other way, at Grandma and Granddaddy Eason's! They literally sit there and watch him as he eats, plays, sleeps, etc. Matt and Athan enjoy playing rough like boys do!

Christmas 2009

Christmas is a time for us to remember the birth of our Savior and a time for peace and family. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family! I am thankful for my friends and family that help me to be the best person I can be. GOD has blessed me and I praise him for his sending his son to save me and for giving me a son to teach this to.

Callaway Gardens 2009

The "Fantasy in Lights" was amazing!!! We had a great time together until Athan got sick and we had to leave the hotel at 1:30 am. That was one long ride but he finally fell asleep and we arrived home about 5:00 am. What great memories!!!

We had a GREAT 4th of July!!! We had dinner with the family at the pond house as usual and then headed to Mill Creek for the fireworks! Athan had so much fun playing and running around before the show began. Matt and I were a little worried if the fireworks would be too loud for him, but our child was not scared a bit!!! He was mesmerized!!! Athan was so tired after the show that we danced until it was time to go! Matt and I had the most fun watching Athan explore, grow, and play!!! Also, I did try to explain to him why we celebrate July 4th. I know he is too young to understand but....

We had a GREAT time at Hilton Head this year! The resort was so peaceful and Athan was so well-behaved the entire time. He likes the beach a little better than the pool! What can I say boys love to play in the dirt!!! Matt and I had such a good time watching him explore and discover. No Athan does not have a tan. I don't think little kids should; sun damage begins so early! I am "that" kind of mom! :-) Can't wait to go back!!!
